Record completed OEM adaptations in Job Story Builder
Five added checklist choices let technicians record completed adaptations, initialization and relearn work in the Reassembly / Service Operations portion of a job story.
Choose from five additional OEM operations
Job Story Builder expands the OEM Compliance checklist with five options for work that has been performed. The complete checklist is arranged alphabetically so technicians can locate an operation while preparing the repair story.
- Battery Adaptation.
- Steering Adaptation.
- Throttle Adaptation.
- TPMS Initialization.
- Transmission Relearn.
These selections record completed operations. They do not establish that a procedure is required for a particular vehicle or that its manufacturer requirements have been satisfied.
Select the performed work in Job Settings
- Open Job Settings within Job Story Builder.
- Check the applicable OEM operations that you completed.
- Supply technician notes or the supporting document, then generate the story.
Each selected added option produces a separate statement in the Reassembly / Service Operations portion of the narrative. An unselected option is not inserted as performed work.
Inspect the service-operation statements in the finished story
Read the generated sentences alongside the rest of the repair account. Check that the selections reflect the actual adaptations, initialization or relearn operations performed during the job.
The expanded checklist reduces repeated typing of these completion statements and helps keep them in the relevant part of the documentation. Accuracy still starts with the technician's selections and the supplied repair evidence.
