The Technician Workspace in SynaNoteAI provides automotive service technicians with specialized AI tools designed to accelerate diagnostic analysis, standardize repair-order documentation, and convert rough shop notes into OEM-compliant 3C (Complaint, Cause, Correction) narratives.

All tools in this workspace operate under your dealership's private Account ID session, ensuring that shop notes, diagnostic sessions, and vehicle records remain completely secure and isolated.

The technician workspace currently features six dedicated production tools:

• Narrative Polish Tool: Cleans up rough shorthand notes, jargon, and voice transcriptions into professional, OEM-ready service stories. Provides private conversation history, follow-up clarification prompts, and 3C story formatting.
• Technician Narrative Stories Tool: A searchable library of verified, reusable repair stories, causes, and wording examples created by your service leadership or shared across your dealer group.
• DTC Analysis Tool: Evaluates diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in combination with customer symptoms and vehicle context, generating structured diagnostic trees and inspection priorities.
• Job Story Builder Tool: Transforms confirmed repair findings, part replacements, and labor steps into a structured, audit-proof repair narrative ready for warranty submission.
• Recall Builder Tool: Analyzes official OEM technical service bulletins (TSBs) and NHTSA/Transport Canada recall notices, highlighting required remedy procedures and identifying missing inspection items.
• Maintenance Analysis Tool: Determines factory-recommended and condition-based maintenance intervals based on current vehicle odometer, operating severity, and service history.

For maximum shop efficiency and warranty approval rates, follow this recommended end-to-end workflow:

1. 1Step 1 - Vehicle Check-in & Intake: Review the customer complaint and road-test notes. If warning lights or diagnostic trouble codes are present, launch the DTC Analysis Tool with the scanned codes and vehicle mileage.
2. 2Step 2 - Inspection & Cause Isolation: Perform standard physical inspections following the suggested diagnostic steps. Once the root cause and defective components are confirmed, consult the Narrative Stories Tool for established dealership wording patterns.
3. 3Step 3 - Draft & Polish Notes: Open the Narrative Polish Tool or Job Story Builder Tool. Enter your raw notes, torque values, part numbers, and test results. SynaNoteAI structures the output into clear Complaint, Cause, and Correction sections.
4. 4Step 4 - Review & Handoff: Review the generated narrative for technical accuracy. Use the one-click Copy Story button to paste directly into your dealership management system (CDK, Reynolds, PBS, DealerTrack, etc.).

• Account ID Isolation: All tool interactions are authenticated with your dealership's private Account ID. Your drafts and notes are never mixed with other accounts.
